Where and when will they train?
You can expect your apprentice to attend college either one day a week or on a block release which could be a 2-3 week block every few months. Working with a local JTL Training Officer you can find out what is offered in your area and what will work best for your business. We work with colleges throughout England and Wales as well as having our own dedicated JTL training centres, and your dedicated training officer will place your apprentice in the most appropriate facility for their learning.
How long will my apprentice take to qualify?
An electrical apprenticeship typically takes around four years to complete. However, if you already hold relevant qualifications or experience in the electrical industry, the duration may be reduced based on your prior knowledge and skills.
