Safeguarding at JTL

Committed to safeguarding

JTL is committed to the safeguarding of all and believes it is always unacceptable for anyone to experience abuse or discrimination of any kind; it takes all reasonable steps to protect all from harm and accepts its responsibility for the well-being and safety of its stakeholders including children and adults at risk.

All learners, including those who are defined as young people (children), vulnerable learners and/or adults at risk, have the right to protection, to be listened to and to have their opinions heard. JTL is committed to ensuring all learners on its scheme have the best opportunity to train and work in an informed and appropriate environment.

In its simplest terms ‘safeguarding’ can be defined as ‘keeping children, young people and adults at risk, safe from harm, abuse or injury’.

Our Diversity, Safeguarding and Inclusion Team is contactable via our dedicated safeguarding email: safeguarding @jtltraining.com or by calling 01689 884120. Please contact them directly if you require any safeguarding advice or support.

If you are a learner, you can also talk to your Tutor, your Training Officer or your Apprentice Support Officer.
