As we continue to grow, we’re looking for skilled Electrical Apprentice to join our vibrant team in Norwich, helping us deliver outstanding service and make a real difference for our clients.

Suitability:

This role is suited to a candidate who would like to learn and work in a challenging industry, with a focus on problem solving and attention to detail. Being able to work in a wider team with varied experienced individuals would suit a candidate who has demonstrable transferrable skills from their personal life.

This role is also fundamentally suited to someone who is looking for a long-term career development and settlement, where they can assist the business to grow its presence in East Anglia, in a continued proper manner to which it has successful done to date.

• Learn and assist experienced electricians in various electrical tasks, including installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems in residential properties.
• Support the installation and maintenance of electrical wiring, fixtures, switches, outlets, and circuit breakers.
• Assist in troubleshooting electrical issues, identifying faults, and proposing appropriate solutions.
• Learn to test electrical systems and equipment using appropriate tools and instruments to ensure proper functioning.
• Assist with installing and maintaining electrical panels, meters, and distribution boards.
• Comply with electrical codes and safety regulations, following safe work practices to protect yourself and others.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each task.
• Undertake training and development activities as part of the apprenticeship program, enhancing your knowledge and skills in electrical systems and industry standards.

• Strong interest in electrical systems and a desire to pursue a career as an electrician.
• Good manual dexterity and ability to work with tools and equipment.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems and components.
•  Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
• Effective communication skills and ability to interact professionally with colleagues and residents.
• A clean driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and openness to feedback.
