JTL’s 6 simple steps to hiring an apprentice

Dale-Turner-with-employer-kier

Here at JTL, we believe that taking on an apprentice is an invaluable way of developing your business and moulding your company culture.

So, we’ve designed our apprenticeship hiring process to be simple, clear and transparent –taking as much of the administration out of the process as possible.

It’s so simple in fact, that we’ve broken it down into six easy steps for you:

Step 1: Fill in an enquiry form

First things first, we just need some basic details input into our online enquiry form. This will only take a couple of minutes and can be found on our website at: http://jtltraining.com/contact-us/

Step 2: Our team will be in touch to discuss your needs and requirements

All that’s left to do at this point is wait for one of our team to get in touch. The incoming call will be vital, as it helps us to determine exactly what your requirements are and how we can help.

Step 3: Get matched with your apprentice

If you don’t already have somebody in mind, we are able to match you with a number of candidates in your area who have been through our application system and are ready to start. As part of our apprentice selection service, we can help you figure out which apprentice will be right for your needs.

Step 4: Talk to us about funding

As you may already know, taking on a new apprentice can mean that your company is now eligible for new funding. Our team are on hand to talk this through with you and explain all of the finer details.

Step 5: Meet your Training Officer

The next stage is meeting your newest go-to point of contact, one of our dedicated JTL training officers. These officers will be the essential bridge between you, your apprentice and us.

Step 6: Start with your JTL apprentice

Our sixth step is easily the most exciting one, because it means your new journey with a JTL apprentice has officially begun. Your six steps have been completed and your apprentice will be due to start shortly.

It’s as simple as that! For more information on the apprenticeship process visit: https://jtltraining.com/apprenticeships/employers/getting-started/
