Following over a £1 million investment, JTL, the leading national training provider for electrical and heating and plumbing apprenticeships, has announced plans to open a new training centre in Nottingham this Autumn.

The Nottingham centre will offer apprenticeships and traineeships, as well as other training courses and functional skills programmes, accepting learners on a day release basis from the Autumn 2020. The new centre will consist of six brand new teaching rooms, two new dedicated workshops for electrical and plumbing courses, an IT suite, as well as an onsite refectory area.

Located just off Junction 25 of the M1, the Nottingham centre is easily accessible for both staff and learners via bus or train, with free on-site parking also available for those travelling by car.

Ian Jervis, Midlands Regional Business Manager at JTL, said: ‘‘We are delighted to be opening a new training centre in Nottingham. We believe the centre will be the ideal learning and working environment for both staff and learners – we are really looking forward to unveiling its new state of the art facilities.

“As a leading training provider, JTL serves approximately 8,000 apprentices and 3,500 employers across England and Wales, so there are so many different opportunities for you to explore. We’d encourage anyone interested in a plumbing and heating or electrical apprenticeship to register their interest.’’

Located on the Orchard Park Industrial Estate in Sandiacre, this facility is the latest in a string of dedicated centres and joint ventures JTL has launched in the last few years. In addition to Nottingham, JTL also has its own centres operating successfully in Birmingham, Tankersley, Norwich, Oxford, Yeovil, Orpington, Maidstone, Ashford, Preston, Carlisle and York.
