JTL Regional Award winners announced

The winners of JTL’s Regional Awards have now officially been announced! With 11 award winners selected in total each winner will now go ‘head-to-head’ in the hope of being named JTL National Apprentice of the Year at the National Awards taking place in London on 20th July.

JTL’s Regional and National Awards are run on an annual basis, recognising those who have demonstrated high levels of achievement and commitment to learning throughout their apprenticeships, with each Regional Award winner receiving an engraved trophy and £100 in prize money.

All 11 regional winners, who automatically qualify as finalists for the National Awards, have either undertaken electrical, or Mechanical Engineering Services (MES) apprenticeships with JTL. They are:

Dillon Spark (Electrical) – Robertson Group Ltd (Engineering Services) – Training Officer Ian Hay

Courteney Thompson (Electrical) – Balfour Beatty Kilpatrick – Training Officer Steve Maddison

Adam Shute (MES) – Advance Installations Ltd – Training Officer Ian Ramsey

William Hall (Electrical) – R S Birch & Partners – Training Officer Dan Hatton

Freddie Young (Electrical) – Briggs & Forrester Group – Training Officer Sam Middleton

Michelle Robinson (Electrical) – Electract Ltd – Training Officer Andrew Hemsill

Richard Simon Evans (Electrical) – Training Officer Nick Bottomley

Tommy Rice (MES) – JDL – Training Officer Chris Swales

Alexander Jolley (Electrical) – Dornan Engineering Services Ltd – Training Officer Richard Stanley

Logan Quantock (Electrical) – Training Officer Matthew Bailey

Jack Graty (MES) – Ultra Plumbing – Training Officer Paul Walton

The awards are a brilliant opportunity to celebrate the achievements of our hardest-working apprentices here at JTL, with a diverse range of stories behind each nomination that help to showcase JTL’s passion for inclusivity and commitment to the job at hand.

We hope that each of the Regional Award winners are incredibly proud of their achievements to date, and we’d like to wish them all the best of luck in the National Awards in July! Stay tuned for further updates from the awards ceremony in the summer…
