JTL’s new Financial Director

Gillian Day - JTL's Financial Director

We are delighted to announce that Gillian Day has been appointed as our new Financial Director.

Gillian is a chartered accountant and chartered director with over 25 years’ experience working both in professional practice and in industry for not for profit and public sector funded organisations. She joins JTL from her previous role as the Director of Finance and Corporate Services at The Housing Ombudsman.

Prior to that, Gillian spent eight years as Chief Finance Officer at a body owned by the secretary of state for health, Community Health Partnerships (CHP) where she was also the shareholder representative across its 49 joint venture companies.

Outside of work, Gillian is a board member and Chair of the Finance & People committee for the Skills for Carecharity, and has previously held roles as Governor, Trustee, and Director for various educational charities.

Gillian told us: “I am thrilled to have joined JTL in my new role as it feels a strong continuation of the work I have been proud to produce as a part of the educational charities I have worked with.

“In my new position, I hope to support JTL as it delivers fantastic learning opportunities across the country whilst also maintaining its role as a figure of influence and guidance for professionals operating systems of work-based learning throughout the building services engineering sector.”
