Paul Estall 

Assistant Director of Operations    

Paul Estall joined JTL in 2024 as Assistant Director of Operations. He has almost 20 years’ experience in the apprenticeships and education sector and has held a range of roles including assessor, quality assurer and Head of Quality and Curriculum. He is a qualified teacher and holds QTLS status. 

 He provides leadership across key areas including quality improvement, curriculum and digital learning, and apprentice welfare. His work is focused on enhancing the apprentice and employer journey, improving consistency and standards, and ensuring programmes continue to meet the evolving needs of employers and industry. He has a strong belief in the power of apprenticeships to support career success and improve learner outcomes, and is equally committed to developing staff so they have the knowledge and skills needed to deliver the highest quality experience for every apprentice.
