Who will benefit?

This one day course including practical assessment will give candidates the core skills and knowledge to safely isolate a low voltage electrical installation or part of it. Successful completion of this course will mean that candidates will have an understanding of relevant legislation and will have demonstrated a degree of core competence regarding how to carry out safe isolation of low voltage electrical circuits in a domestic or light commercial situation. However, please note that it is the responsibility of each employer to establish whether an individual is competent for the work to be undertaken.

• Other trades who are required to safely isolate electrical equipment prior to mechanical maintenance activities

Assessment:

A practical assessment will take place, and all delegates who complete the course will receive a certificate to add to their CPD (Continued Professional Development) records.
